It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our founder and owner.
Since starting the company in 1963, he dedicated his life to building not only a business, but a community grounded in integrity, innovation, and relationships. His vision and guidance helped revolutionize billiard fabric in the United States, and his impact on our industry will be felt for generations to come.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a generous and caring man who treated everyone with fairness and respect, regardless of their position or title. He believed deeply in people and was always willing to lend his time, advice, and support to young entrepreneurs trying to build something of their own. To so many, he was more than a business leader — he was a trusted advisor, mentor, and loyal friend.
Outside of work, he had a passion for life and the outdoors. Whether skiing, white water rafting, cheering on the Chicago Bulls as a devoted NBA fan, or simply enjoying the beauty of nature from his home in White Salmon, Washington, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm and appreciation.
Most importantly, he was a devoted husband, father, and friend to many. His character, wisdom, and kindness shaped this company and the people within it in countless ways.
We are profoundly grateful for the support, friendships, and partnerships that so many of you shared with him throughout the years. His legacy will continue to guide our company forward, and we remain committed to upholding the values and standards he established over more than six decades.
